Day 58

We land at Singapore around 9.30 am.

As it was an afternoon flight from London, neither of us could sleep on the plane.

Customs was very slow and its a good hour and half just to get out of the airport.

Taxi to the hotel, checked in and have some Yum Cha for lunch.

With both of us extremely tired, we know to stay awake and fight the urge for an afternoon nap.

Our hotel is in Marina bay, so we walk over to the famous Marina bay complex with the shape of a boat built across the buildings.

The whole harbour area and architectural design buildings are a sight to see, as we wander around.

All around the area they are setting up for the Grand Prix car race, as it must be on soon. The track goes along the front of our hotel.

Struggling with no sleep and the heat, we head back to the pool in an effort to stay awake.

After a swim and the traditional mojitos on the first day anywhere, we made it to 6 pm and went to bed.
